In FR Books, there are a default set of categories (or 'chart of accounts') which include the basic categories a business will need for their bookkeeping. These default categories cannot be edited or deleted in FR Books, as they are used as a basis for machine learning.
The algorithms within FR Books use set categories to gain insight into common selections, providing a better user experience. However, if the categories provided aren’t tailored enough, they can be added and/or edited.
Additionally, existing categories can be made inactive by clicking the yellow edit icon for the category as circled below:
